Taaffe's Red follows a long tradition of red ale from this island, so famous it has its own beer category - Irish Red Ale. Taaffe's is a complex, ruby rich red ale. It has a roasted malt flavour with tastes of toffee, caramel and chocolate, finished off with citrus hops.

The sweet malt flavours go well with roasted or grilled meats. Our favourite pairings for Taaffe's Red are steak, chilli, shepherd's pie and good old bangers and mash.
